With just one bag and a dream of becoming a songwriter, I moved west from my small hometown in Canada to Los Angeles on September 10, 1994. Six months after arriving, I met a Texan guitar player and song writer Lee Jackson. Together, we formed the band Judge Jackson, named after Lee’s father, a Texan Judge.
Over the next 20 years, Lee and I wrote hundreds of songs together, recorded ten albums, and toured the States. Along with bandmates J. J. Garcia (on drums) and Brian “Chewy” James (on bass), we played at bars like the infamous Troubadour to music festivals like the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and everything in between. Lee and my songs have also appeared on numerous placements, including the Super Bowl and various TV shows and other sporting placements.
Lee’s untimely death in 2016 ended the Judge Jackson chapter. Since then, I continue to write songs—though now I compose the music as well as the lyrics—and occasionally performs.
I currently reside in Moorpark, California
